Go to Teaching and click the subject you want to enter scores for. This opens the score sheet for that subject.
Choosing a term
Use the term picker at the top of the score sheet to switch between terms. Each term has its own independent set of scores.
The score grid
The grid shows one row per student and one column per assessment component (for example, CA1, CA2, Exam). The last columns show the computed total and the grade.
- Click any cell and type a number, then press Enter, Tab, or an arrow key to move to the next cell. Scores save automatically when you leave the cell.
- Each cell shows a small indicator while saving and a tick when the score is confirmed.
- A score must be between 0 and the component's maximum. An error toast appears if the value is out of range.

Snap scores from a paper sheet
If you marked on paper, click Snap scores above the grid to skip manual typing. Photograph or upload up to a few pages of the same sheet, then click Read the sheet — Schola reads the photo, matches names to your students, and maps columns to assessment components. Review and correct anything before clicking Save scores; nothing is written until you confirm. This uses AI credits.
Marking the sheet complete
When you have finished entering all scores for this subject and term, click Mark complete above the grid. This signals to the form teacher and admin that the sheet is done. It does not lock the sheet — you can still edit scores.
When the term is published
After an admin publishes the term, the score sheet becomes read-only for subject teachers. Admins can still edit scores after publication. If scores need correcting, ask an admin to either edit the score directly or unpublish the term so teachers can make changes.
Form teacher view
Form teachers see the same score sheet for every subject assigned to their class, not just the subjects they teach. They can enter and correct any score before publication. See Broadsheets and form-teacher oversight for the full cross-subject view.
