Go to People → Teachers. There are two ways to add a teacher, depending on whether they have a reliable email address.
Option 1 — Invite by email
Use this when the teacher has an email address they check. They set their own password.
- Click Invite by email.
- Fill in First name, Last name, and Email (required). Phone is optional — the teacher can add it when they accept.
- Click Send invitation.
The teacher receives an email with a link to set their password. The invitation expires in 7 days. You can resend or revoke it from the Pending invitations section on the Teachers page.
Option 2 — Create teacher directly
Use this when the teacher doesn't have email or you want to hand them credentials directly.
- Click Create teacher.
- Fill in First name, Last name, and Phone (required). Email and other fields are optional.
- Click Create teacher.
Schola generates a password and shows it once — copy it before closing. Share the phone number (their login identifier) and the password with the teacher. They can change the password after signing in.
After adding a teacher
- Assign them as a subject teacher from any class page (see Add subjects and assign them to classes).
- Assign them as a form teacher from the class detail page.
- You can reset a teacher's password at any time from their profile.
