My account holds the details that are yours rather than your school's — your name, your photo and your password. Everyone has one, whatever their role.
Getting there
Click your name or photo in the top-right corner, then My account.
Your details
Update your first and last name, and your contact details. Your name is what appears wherever you're shown to other people — as a form teacher on a class, as the author of a post, in message threads.
Your photo
Upload one and it replaces the initials shown beside your name. Square images work best. Changing it updates it everywhere immediately.
Your password
Change password asks for your current one, then the new one twice.
If you can't remember your current password, sign out and use Forgot password on the sign-in screen instead.
If your school set your password for you
Teachers, staff and students created by an administrator start on a password someone else chose. The first time you sign in, Schola asks you to pick your own before going any further — administrators can't see what you choose.
If you were invited by email instead, you set your own password when you accepted, and there's nothing extra to do.
Students signing in with an ID
Students created in bulk sign in with their student ID. The same rule applies: the first sign-in asks them to choose a password of their own.
