How everyone logs in

Updated 3 July 2026

Everyone logs in at your school's portal. The address is yourschool.schola.ng/login — replace yourschool with your school's actual URL.

The login page has one field that accepts an email address, a phone number, or a student ID. Enter whichever applies to you, then your password, and click Sign in.

Admins

Login identifier: Email address.

First time: If you signed up yourself, you set your password during signup. If the platform team created your school, you received an invitation email — click the link to set your password before it expires (7 days).

What you see after signing in: The full dashboard — People, Results, Accounting, Settings, and all other modules your plan includes.

Forgot your password: Click Forgot password? on the login page, enter your email, and click Send reset link. Check your inbox (and spam) for a link that expires in 1 hour.

Teachers

A single teacher account may carry two types of duties: form teacher duties and subject teacher duties. Both are on the same account — you log in once and see everything assigned to you.

Login identifier: Email address, or phone number if your account was created without an email.

First time:

  • Invited by email — click the link in your invitation email and set your own password. The link expires in 7 days.
  • Created directly by admin — the admin shares your email or phone number and an initial password. Sign in with those, then change your password from your profile.

What you see after signing in:

Sidebar item What it's for
My classes Your form class — mark the daily register, view the broadsheet, manage the class roster, and oversee results
Teaching Your subject assignments — enter scores, author lesson notes, create and deliver CBT exams
CBT Question bank and exam groups across all subjects you're authorised for
Inbox Messages from parents of your form class students, and from admins
Announcements Announcements from the school admin

If you are only a subject teacher and not a form teacher, My classes will be empty. If you are only a form teacher, Teaching will be empty. Both sections are always visible.

Forgot your password:

  • Email account — click Forgot password?, enter your email, and follow the reset link (expires in 1 hour).
  • Phone-only account (no email on your profile) — the self-serve reset cannot reach you. Contact your school office to have your password reset.

Parents

Login identifier: Email address, or phone number if your account was created without an email.

First time:

  • Invited by email — click the link in your invitation email and set your own password. The link expires in 7 days.
  • Created directly by admin — the admin shares your login identifier and an initial password. Use those to sign in.

What you see after signing in: Your child's dashboard — results, fees, attendance, and announcements. If you have two children at the school, you see both on your dashboard.

Forgot your password:

  • Email account — click Forgot password?, enter your email, and follow the reset link (expires in 1 hour).
  • Phone-only account — contact the school office. The admin resets your password from your profile.

Students

Login identifier: Student ID (for example, AMAKA4521). Your school office can give you this if you do not have it.

First time: The admin gives you your Student ID and an initial password when your account is created. If you were bulk-imported, ask your class teacher or the school office for your credentials.

What you see after signing in: Your subjects, lesson notes, CBT tests and practice exams, and your result history.

Forgot your password: The forgot-password flow is not available for student accounts. Ask your class teacher or the school office — the admin can reset your password from your profile.

For admins — resetting anyone's password

  1. Open the user's profile from the relevant page in People.
  2. Go to the Edit tab.
  3. Click Reset password, set a new one, and share it with the user.
